I found this interesting 1992 advertisement of Waldameer, featuring pictures of the Pirate's Cove, with all of the cannons on the front, and the Whacky Shack, how it looked like back when it was built. But, what caught my eye is that every photo (2) we have on the original Whacky Shack front, it's not complete. Still no roofs, no dog, no left leg out-jet, no right chimney, no flower window, no right shutter on the squarish window on the dip background. It's weird. So, what's up with that?! It can't be under maintenance in every old picture. That would be ridiculous? Does anybody know? Oh, and I suggest that the new Tracy 1970 Catalog should be redone so it's clearer. I printed it out, and I still had to decode the tiny words. I finally got the job done and made my own copy of it, but for the sake of others it should be improved. Here it is: 3.bp.blogspot.com/_Fd-zt93-dV4/SZy5oXxzU3I/AAAAAAAABAY/fqYRI1bD8_o/s1600-h/Waldameer_1992_2.jpg(not to mention the missing chimney cap, vulture, pot, and faucet.)
