So I was at Waldameer today, and though the rides were amazing, their new system of payment is whacked.
I went to buy a lemonade. It cost three dollars. I hand the lady he money and she gives me it back saying "We don't take real money"
Now, you must go put all of your money on a pre paid credit card to buy anything. And I mean anything. I wanted to help a girl who was 14 cents short on a gift but couldn't because "it needs to be on a card; we don't take real money"
To get the card, you can't put on change. Only bills. No refunds and machines don't give change. It just sucks the money out of your pocket because you don't know how many points you need. It's like Jolly Rodgers but worse.
Oh and no one knows how to work these machines to get the cards so you wait in line while kids monkey around with a machine.
Not that fun.

Sounds like a terrible way to run an amusement business, especially since they are a smaller operation. What a joke. Rides are one thing, but not food, concessions, gifts, etc.

Oh but here's the best part. At any register, you can buy wally points.
So I can give you money, you give me the points, then I give the points right back to you.
So why can't I just use real money in the firs place?
