Have any of you ever been to a Spirit Halloween store? I was just wandering because I like their products and own many of them. The life sized animatronics are awesome!

I love just browsing in a Spirit Store! I love checking out the fake limbs (and severed torture chamber heads!). They do have a lot of neat stuff there.

Yes, I am a fan of that store. They are one of the first Halloween stores that introduced commercial animatronics at a consumer grade level at affordable prices. Before Spirit, you couldn't get anything animated unless you went through Morris Costumes and paid an arm and a leg. Great for anyone trying to start their own homemade Haunted House. A lot of things you can spend a little time with to make look twice as nice!

I'm a strong supporter of the store...because it is one of the only exclusively Halloween stores. Halloween City, a division of Party City, doesn't really compare. At Spirit, they have an entire collection of unique (and affordable) props from makers like Tekky Toys. Spencer Gifts always used to sell the coolest Halloween props and masks - now they don't sell any. Because Spirit is a division of Spencer Gifts. I think they're really doing well, too. I bought Rosemary, Creepy Caretaker, The Harvester, Resurrection Mary, and a Shackled Prisoner from Spirit. Like Brandon said, companies are finding ways (finally) to make animated props and offer them for under $100. The best deal from Spirit last year must have been Rosemary for $129.99. She has four different movements! I can't imagine how much some of these stores are making annually. Usually I might buy two full-size props per year. That's about $200. Spirit sold out of the Jumping Spider, Rosemary, and other props last year. That's crazay! Their small props, however, can be bought at Walgreen's for 60% cheaper. Still I love the store. Who knows what they'll offer this year. Some of the new props can be seen at HalloweenAsylum.com. Also, Spirit just added a "New for 2012" category to their website. Get ready for the fun!
