So... this monster storm is clearly one of the worst Ocean City has ever experienced... the pier has already been carried out to sea, and the entire city is nearly underwater...
What repercussions is this going to have on the entire City? I assume at some point, the water will recede back into the ocean, right? I can't imagine having to access the Haunted House via a gondola...
What's everyone thinking? I know many of us don't want to talk about our worst fears, but what do you really think is going to happen? Could this end up being the end of Ocean City? It seems Atlantic City has already turned into Atlantis, so OC has been lucky thus far, considering the storm hasn't even hit Jersey yet, and they've already gone underwater.

This storm may be the storm of the century for OC. Biggest since 1962. The city will not hold up to the beating it will take. Boardwalk is already under water. Can't imagine the damage to the HH and the amusement park. It will take months to recover. HH is mostly a concrete building, but the Carousel house is not. Hoping for the best, but we have been overdue for a storm of this size, and it's really happening. Check the HH facebook page during the storm for my updates.

Does anyone know how high the water is at the HH? Hopefully that front gate is keeping some things in check. I hope everything's alright. We've gotten a ton of rain here, and school is closed tomorrow. I can't imagine how it must be at Ocean City. Do keep us updated so we know things are okay!

Man that sucks. They had a great darkride called Stillwalk Manor, and the Centrafuze. That is just crazy. I only been there a few times but I do remember those rides down there. Funtown pier which is nearby, suffered the same fate. Makes you realize the dangers of building a pier into the water like those piers were.
