I forgot my password. I say do not remove any of the Tracy stunts that would be awful to lose the sawmill, knit-wit or clock. To the idiot that suggested replacing the Tracy stunts with those pieces of crap I say get lost. I like the day-glo stunts from 1964. I wouldn't mind adding new stunts in addition to those, though or replacing newer stunts with others. The Haunted House is the kookiest thing around. Probably the best Bill Tracy dark ride left.

Seriously! Why would anybody replace "the toilet" with that "vomit barrel" Morbid Manor II has it! And replace "the sawmill" with the" car thru wall"? I guess youth today would rather see stupid and nasty stunts then classic and scary ones.

(Sorry-didn't realize it had a page 2. I mean this for a responce to that high-tech fancy guy)
Actually, that "Purple People Eater" looks like it would go GREAT with the troll family....wait a minute! We want to ADD stuff, not TRHOW AWAY stuff! It has to be classic still with new thrills! You probably own that site! We love the Haunted House! LONG LIVE THE HAUNTED HOUSE!!!!!!!!!

Oh my Cod!! GoreMaster666 offered some pretty bizarre and random prop choices to replace some excellent stunts!!! Most of them were--like--gargoyle type things!! Anyway, that's just what he'd like to see in the ride... I think the shivering mummy is just a cheap find on the management's part...I'd like to see something that is "closed" until you creep closer, and once the balcony doors shut and there's no light to ruin the stunt, something could pop out. You know how there's that little window-like thing on the left wall next to the Shivering Mummy? That would be a cool place for the Pop-Out of the Shudders Guy that mttb showed on page one. It kind-of reuses that "window" space, and is a creepy prop. However, I don't like the guy's movement when he pops out, and I would rather it be a different looking creature for the Haunted House's style.

Yeah, like it could be a still ghoul in the window, painted so it fits in with the rest of the stunts, and just have his arms open the shutters.

People would definitely not suspect anything to pop out of those shudders--it actually looks like what the wall panel looks like now.
More ideas, anyone??

It's kind-of the perfect wall right there for the prop...looks pretty cool! Something worth considering! During this YouTube video, a rider going past the Shivering Mummy says "I know you're gonna' pop out!" But, when the car passes, and nada happens, she then says, "Ah, you're no fun, you just looked at me." Definite fail for the mummy. URL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6GNtO5m5aQI also think something great could replace the Giant Skull and Hands prop...it's just too boring and still for me. The area is kind-of hard, though--you have the Torture Chamber attracting most everyone's attention, so the stunt on the left might still be overlooked...

Well, Jolly Rodgers would do that, after all, it's Jolly Rodgers isn't it?
As far as repainting the stunt, I doubt that would need to be done, as the bright red flood lights would do enough to enhance him. He looks pretty good in there doesn't he?
If he needs a hydraulic air vale, there must be one from the crab that still leads to that spot.
We just move the mummy to the downhill area, or AKA the hall of HH lackies and retire'es...
He's be a pretty cool, somewhat less costly then most addition I think...

Some others have thought something nice could go in the old Wine Cellar diorama. I think so, too. It's just so boring nowadays...a few portraits and a couple large skulls aren't very scary. Something really great could leave you--actually--scared as you come out of the ride!
I wonder what could go there...

Has Trimper's ever given thought in putting the Birthday Party in the old wine-cellar position? I wonder if that would work at all?

What they could do in the wine cellar diorama is add some fake foilage, move the hippo to that area, and maybe a cannibal figure* to make that a jungle scene. A lot of old tracy rides had a jungle theme.
* They could repaint and reoutfit the birthday stunt to make it look like 2 cannibals? I'm not sure how you all would feel about that though.

The Birthday Party, to me, was always one of the creepiest things I remember. Something really sinister about a bunch of clowns baking the decapitated head of their friend into a birthday cake, or if it's not just the head, his entire body.

The Birthday Party, along with the Hands in the toilet were two things my mom told me about in the ride that made me decide to take my first ride. Now mind you, they were comical as a immature child would view them; but in reality, the stunts are, in close-up, very creepy and disturbingly detailed. If they placed the Birthday Party in the old wine diorama a few advantages would be:
- A Much closer view could enhance the stunt's creepiness.
- It would be right behind the Exit doors; which would be the safest place for them; who would really be in there right mind trying to vandalize something that could be heard, and possibly viewed from the lobby?
- The Stunt could be appreciated more then where it currently is. The down-hill should be a place for lackies and toss-outs, not a stunt as complete as the birthday party. The speed in the down-hill gives little to no time to get a good view of it.
As far as updates; Brandon, I think you should try to talk Scotty into this idea. ;D There are really no negatives in this scenario. It would cost little to nothing, (Maybe they could add a few sounds to enhance it? Something like this maybe: www.mediafire.com/?g3nnmgnymju)
Maybe all we need is a restored stunt? Not that I wouldn't like to see the mummy get kicked down-hill to be replaced by Mr.Shutter Ghoul, but I think this could be the perfect "New" Stunt...
What do you think?

That would be a perfect place for the Birthday Party--maybe they could install a new background kind-of relating to the stunt. I'll be honest to say the sound effect above is pretty corny, but some evil laugh like that could enhance the creepiness of the Birthday Party characters! I'd rather see almost anything other than some portraits and decaying spiderwebs...

But if it IS put there, yes it would be nice. But, other people aren't like us. They would just have a better chance of destroying the stunt.

I'm not sure anyone would be stupid enough to vandalize something in that area. The doors are only a few feet away, and the odds of anyone not hearing or perhaps seeing it happen are slim. It may even to some extent be safer is some respect...

Hurray! I made it back on--for now! I first received a virus while watching a music video on muvids.com. That was well before Christmas...and I'm still feeling the effects. What is wrong with the useless people that create these viruses? Anyway, while most of us (like me) would like to see the Birthday Party revamped and brought back, it probably would become extrememly vandalized within minutes of it being in the attraction. It would be hard to get away with, however, because it's so close to the exit door...

Well, if it would happen, there's always the possibility of chicken wire...let's face it, the Haunted House Deserves somthing fresh for the 2010 season inside...what better then restore a cast aside Tracy heirloom to a bit of former glory, even if they did feel it's position was going to be that unsafe, (I think otherwise) chicken wire would still make it worth it...as it would be the cheapest way to add something new, something we all could appreciate...

Very odd... If the party was placed there, chicken wire would take away from the stunt. But, I guess to keep a stunt in one piece, it needs some protection... The feel of the Haunted House would definitely change if chicken wire was added to the stunts.

Take it from me. I ride the Whacky Shack, and everything has wires in front of it. Even the spiders at the end of the corridor. I can see the stunts very clear, and it really does not affect the experience. And, there's a big waiting line to prove it! And, yes I have experienced a ride without wires, and to me there wasn't a difference. Well, except that Knoebel's Haunted House has better lighting.

It's horrible that in today's world, we can't trust people to not vandalize or destroy something historic and priceless.
