Any Fun house & Dark ride enthusiast has heard of the Six Flags Great Adventure Haunted Castle Fire; It's the incident that pushed the bar for what standard fire and emergency procedures should be for Dark Rides and Fun Houses across the country...
There is a documentary worth watching on YouTube about it, and a companion book that is available for free in PDF format here:

It's a story worth learning about...
While we all know Trimper's HH has some of the highest quality fire systems in any dark ride around, one can only imagine being stuck in Pirates Cove surrounded by a fiery blaze...

This is one reason I hated Sixflags. The quality of the ride from what I heard was cheap and a rip off and also the fact they didn't want to spend extra mula for safety...

My trip to SFGA as I think I have said before on here; was the only time I ever visited a park and ended up leaving a day early; that place has a curse put apoun it; and it's funny how things play out like this; they don't want acknowledge it happened, but that area of the park has been plagued with problems since; and many have claimed to see ghosts nearby that location. They just don't get it; they've played off the incident for themed attractions, but won't acknowledge the dead; so they have consequently been cursed...

I was through that castle about a month before it burnt. It was actually built inside trailers, laid out in a mirror image floorplan, that is, there were actually two duplicate haunts next to each other. Of course I had to walk through both sides, to see if I could detect any differences. There were none.
