ok, so it took me a while to find out that the Haunted House was owned by Trimpers, so then why did they put it on the boardwalk? i mean they could've put it somewhere in the park and let people use regular tickets instead of spending $3 per ride
so whos idea was it put it in the boardwalk?

Maybe to attract other boardwalk patrons to come to the park? I mean, the bat really catches the eye. Also, you can use Trimpers tickets. It's 8 tickets per ride. It's better to pay the 3 dollars because if each ticket is 50 cents, it comes out to be 4 dollars!

The boardwalk is the most ideal location for the ride. It gets the most exposure.

Not to mention it wouldn't be open in the winter or fall like it is sometimes; it would just be closed like the rest of the rides in the back. ;D
