Back from Knoebel's with a whole lot of pictures! I'll edit and post my videos tomorrow hopefully. Alrighty, this will be image heavy just so you all know... Let's start with a Black Diamond Update before I jump to the monstrous amount of photos I took in the Haunted Mansion; The facade seems to be done. What work is going on inside, I do not know. According to the map, the ride will cost $2.00 in tickets when it opens, and will not be included in any of the pay one price plans, just like The Haunted Mansion. They already have T-shirts in the Mining Museum next door!Next, The Haunted Mansion. They got to know me as the guy with the camera. I used all three of my different cameras inside this ride. A few minor things have been added this year. New characters have replaced the spinning faces in the dungeon, the psycho room has a new black-light strobe in it, and the Clown has a new shirt. Spookyrider, here's your requested shots of the Frank and Ruth from the living room scene:...and Zombieraider, here is the Graveyard Scene with all it's force perspective goodness... uh, spoiled I guess......It looks better when viewed in the speed the ride allows you to without the use of flash. The scene is barely lit! Here is the best of the rest:Also, in other news; the Phoenix still has no seat-belts, and the Flying Turns is still not open. The new family coaster is a pretty good replacement for the old Overland Coaster. It gives a very similar ride.

They certainly have cleaned it up since I was there.
There was a sign saying that DAFE members got a free tour. I say we hunt one of them down. I'll need some duck tape . I'll make em talk!
Overall nice photos. Is the loading area the same as golden nugget with all the stores and such? I can't remember.
And lol. I was in OC while you were at Knoebels.

Also, they have a pretty awesome new Haunted Mansion T-Shirt that I purchased. They have it in Dark Gray (What I got), Orange, and Neon Blue:Attachments:

I love the pictures! I'm glad they fixed Frank's jaw. The ride looks amazing! About the bars in the dungeon, wasn't there a scene change in there after it was the heads? First it was King Kong, then the heads, but in 2009 do you remember something different in there? I could be wrong. That was the last time I went there.

2009 was the last time I was there too, and that's when they had the spinning heads. The new guys are pretty crazy looking. I'm pretty sure now that the organ music is set off by the welcomer, and that there are a good twenty or thirty some loops of 1 minute organ music that can play as the car travels through the first scene. The music changes so quick. You can hear it, along with that awful foghorn through the cinder-block building.

Nice pictures! Black diamond station part looks almost like the Golden Nugget! And I was always curious what the back of the Haunted Mansion looked like!

I think it looks pretty awesome. Can't wait till next summer so I can ride it. If they have the stunt location set up anything like the Haunted Mansion, it should be quite a well paced ride.

I'll bet you money that the white trees in the grave yard scene are actually part of those small white fake christmas trees that have the lights inside it. I have one at home.
