I saw that thing a few months ago. Weren't those cars in that Hour 13 ride? I know there were other pictures on flickr.

Yes, the guy saved them and transported them to Birmingham, AL where they are used in a seasonal dark ride in Birmingham. He also got some of the props, a fire company in Ft Walton, FL got the rest. The Fright Zone cars from Ohio (now at Conneaut Lake, PA) were identical to the Hunt's Pier Whacky Shack cars since they were made by Allan Herschell. Most of the two-level Tracy rides used the fiberglass Hush Puppy cars with rounded fronts like the Ghost Ship cars but without the bat.

Why, I ask does Trimper's allow these things to sit and rot. Brandon; have you ever thought to ask them if they would be willing to give away the ghost ship car-bodies for restoration and home display?
I'd love to have something like that, and save it form the weather...
