They better not turn this into a corrugated shed, I hope they make it like the Nugget facade with black or grey color.

Who cares what the exterior looks like if it's all indoors?

exterior is very important, it draws people to the ride.

I think they're just using the cars. I've read somewhere it will be coal-mining themed, since...ya know, the park also has that museum.

you know the golden nugget had a headslinger a the time. And I seen videos on youtube of the top of the ride before it was demolished, there was a freakin helicopter on the top of it.URL: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sUetRvwbm8

Look; Knoebels never even had to offer to re-build it at all; Knoebels is know for rides that don't have the most "Draw You In" facades; There Haunted Mansion really doesn't look Haunted, and Cosmo-tron is a mystery till you enter the building. It's not going to be the same ride; but Knoebels will do with it something that is at least better then it ending up in a Jersey Landfill; it would had they not bought it.

Actually if you look at real haunted houses around America most are clean looking and organized unless of coarse its in disrepair. The Knoebel's HH does a goodjob making it look creepy and ominous.

I can't wait to see what they do for the Black Diamond! I hope they do the stunts well.

It will be worth the trip up there to ride it again.
They will have a hard time beating its original design. (pre-dinosaur beach) but I will remain optimistic until proven otherwise.
I wonder if it will be ready for when the park opens for the season?

As far as I've heard; it should be open before flying turns opens. Next year definitely...

The Bobsled Coaster that is too fast for anyone in their right mind to ride at the moment; Because Mr.Knoebel says it's too fast, that means it's WAY too fast for most.
Photo from my last visit in summer 2009; Gonna try to get up there in 2011 to ride Black Diamond.

Knoebel's is my Favorite Park! It owns Hershey; (Hershey is old news, everyone has been once in these parts, and it's the same old same old every time)
They are so much different from you typical park; it's like taking a trip back in time.

yeah Hershey is getting old. this summer had to be the first time we didnt enjoy it. as soon as we left the park, we said "I think its time to go somewhere else next year."

Knoebel's has some of the best "Old School" rides around.

It's not as bad as it sounds Troy; You can buy a ticket book for around $20 to $30 to get you through most of the day; The most expensive ride is the Sky-ride at $3.00, and that's as much as the Haunted House here at Trimpers! The Twister costs $2.00 as Well as the Phoenix! Great Prices! And the food is out of this world! They have to be the greatest most underrated full-scale park out there.

I do appreciate Knoebels for preserving great old rides, but they seriously need to add safety features on the Phoenix.

Haha! If they do, it will fall in the rankings! They run it like any old fashioned Wooden Coaster used to be run back in the day.
