a 7+ foot surge. So if this does happen, what would happen next? How would the city deal with this problem?

If this were to happen, there really isnt much the city can do except wait for the water to recede. You have to remember that OC is just a barrier island and was NEVER meant to be built on. It's a fragile city, and this storm will prove it I believe.

Do you think the Haunted House will be ruined? If water gets inside? I wonder if my favorite place, Wildwood, NJ, which I was just at from July 5-9 for the first time since June, 1998, will be wrecked? This storm looks bad. I feel bad for the amusement parks in WW, OC MD, etc.

Both areas are going to get wrecked, with flooding, and wind damage. And thats not ruling out the possibility of waterspouts heading onto shore as a tornado. Just hope for the best.

Brandon, Maybe it's time to really look into building a replica of the Haunted House. This could be it...
As for the Headslinger's Remains...uh, well... I guess that's not gonna happen... All the years, the Haunted House has been in Ocean City; it's about time it takes a swim in the Atlantic...

lets think positive people. Lets not let this hurricane ruin the thoughts of the haunted house, the only thing that should be ruined would be the exterior

If there ends up being no power, and no updates. If I see the bat floating in the creek in my backyard then I will know.
