I am pleased to share that three new effects have recently been delivered that were purchased this year at the IAAPA convention. They are from Scare Factory. The were delievered last week. Locations are still being determined. Some more effects might be shuffeled around to make room. The anqitue Witch stunt from Funni-Frite may be moved to make room. Stay tuned.

It's gonna be a busy season indeed! New stuff everywhere you look! I'll be there on the 20th of May; can't wait to see how everything has been done up. Really looking forward to the new doors, and seeing how they space out the rooms upstairs.
Now we need to find space for those new ones. If they have no intention of saving the Mermaid and putting her back in her rightful place, I elect to place her and the diorama in storage (NOT the county landfill) and ditch the Rite-Aid Vampire, or have her on has-been-hill. That corner is pretty large, and would fit almost anything, even... well, I don't think I should beat a dead horse, but the Headslinger...

Great news man. I am stumped on where the hell your fitting all these new additions this year. Maybe you guys started the 3rd story idea?

Space is, and continues to be, a major issue. Soon, as the years progress and new things are purchased, it is only logicial that some of the antique Tracy effects will have to leave. It's sad, but true!

If Tracy Stunts will be removed, you should keep them in good condition or sell them to collectors. They are just too historical to be trashed :/

I really see no need to keep adding these new "better" stunts that break down after 1 season (look at how long that bolt lasted). If any more Tracy props are thrown out, this legndary ride will just be another common, crappy haunted house ride you can find at any park. Tracy is what makes this ride what is is.

I love the HH because it has the perfect balance of modern technological thrills, as well as disorienting classic effects. I really like how it switches back and forth from old and nostalgic to new props that a younger generation craves to see in any dark ride.
With all the new additions, I'm not sure which spaces would accomodate the new Scare Factory props. I need to see what they are! Like Mike said, the Vampiress' diorama could be removed and one of the new effects could go there. But then we would have to deal with dueling classic stunt versus new stunt.
And then we have the area with the Melting Trolls near the Sawmill. That could also be a good area for one of the new things.

no matter what stunt it is. no stunt belongs in the landfill. They did that with old Franky and the crab. If Trimpers puts the old Matterhorn cars on ebay then why not sell passed stunts.

I will say that one of the new effects will go where the Trolls are. That's right, there will no Trolls this year. They are gone. One of the new effects is 11 ft tall and the ceiling in that area will make it a perfect fit.
One of the other new effects will end up going in to the Graveyard, is it is themed to look like it belongs in a cemetary. Possibly replacing the old RIP Grave, or where the tombstone is where the hand reaches out from under.
I'll keep you updated.

Brandon, you keep mentioning "11 feet tall". Well I was browsing Scarefactory and found a monster that was 11 feet tall! Is it possible that a new prop this year could be a Zombie Kong?

Sweet Mary! Those are gigantic! They actually kinda' fit with the trolls' look - UGLY.
And that grave with the hand coming out is a good pick to be moved or (re)moved altogether. That's a much smaller space, though. Let's put in Resurrection Mary from Spirit Halloween! Just kidding..
With all of these new (and old) stunts being added, riders are going to want to ride a few times I'd say!

I know what the 11 foot tall one is; unless there is another 11 foot tall one... it's not one of those, but... I don't know if I'm supposed to share yet though... Brandon, you might want to start doing daily updates... any weekend now, someone could end up going up there and finding out things like were the Reacher is, and what new things have been placed where... You might want to share the news before someone gets up there and brings back a video showing it all off... just saying...

I look for new YouTube videos of the ride all the time and found a new one today...hehehe. Let's just say I know something that should be kept secret...
Actually, I'm kidding entirely. Or you could view it as lying. There's just a 55 second video that is of terrible quality and doesn't show any of the new stunts. Although I think it does capture the Giant Skull that went in near the Cuckoo Clock. Other than that, I'm still clueless as to what new stunts are where! New video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHHLQMtASjwBut I can venture a guess into what the 11-footer is. I'll say it's..... THE HEADSLINGER! No, I guess it's a Scare Factory stunt...

It wouldn't bother me if people found out on their own. For one, I haven't had much time to dedicate to the website recently. For two, a lot of the things may still be moved or changed again, like the Reacher for example. The place it is at might not be where it stays, so I'd rather not report on something unless it's concrete.

Is there enough space for the Reacher to fit where the Witch was? It seems like there's no room to work with there, and that riders would constantly grab at his arms if he was placed in that spot.

I love all of the things that have been done to the ride! The Giant Angel of Death and the Zombie Crawler work well where they were placed. I desperately need to see video of the HH with all of the new stuff in it!

Honestly, I'm wondering if too much got added this year... all we got rid of was the trolls... how many things got crammed in where they don't fit is my question...
As with anything, you can never judge it by just pictures and video, and I truly wonder what the ride will be like this season with so much extra stuff everywhere... is it just me, or does it look like the graveyard got blasted all over the ride? Tombstones everywhere! Hope it looks better then it did in the pictures... I'm a tad bit worried...

I don't think it lost anything. But you bring up a good point. Maybe the tombstones that were scattered around the ride should be confined to the Cemetery and stay there. Could we take, say, the tombstone next to the Vampire near the end of the ride, and move it near the Pop-Up Coffin? Right when you enter the Graveyard and you swoop down that little hill, I recall there being an open corner straight ahead. Ya'll know what I'm talking about? How about we move one or two of the new tombstones into that corner? And then take any leftovers and place them near the Rotating Head Tombstone. Mike has a good point, and I think I agree with him, that the stones should not be scattered everywhere, or else things could start to look messy. Here are some more questions: Are the new tombstones from Phantasmagoria, and are they painted with fluorescent paint? I say we should move ALL tombstones where they belong - the Cemetery.

New video of the HH if you haven't scoured it out already.www.youtube.com/watch?v=6L7aRXRw3YgOf course, you can't make out much, but you can see the new tombstones and the Angel of Death. Things looked very nice and smoothly running. I wonder what's in the works for the Birthday Party?! It wasn't in its old spot...

Thanks man; I invested in some extra video lighting before I went.
The gallows are still there, and working better than ever before! However, because of the distance from my camera and the new lighting on the stunt, they didn't show up in the video. They are still in the same spot, and you can hear the moaning in the video; (Along with the awful sound of kitty-litter traction on the down-hill. It was a tad rainy the day I filmed it)

Wow! They really did a good job! People are really going to be confused when they get in when things have been arranged. I like the two diromas at the end, there cheap looking but they add character. Now the one thing they need to get is air compressor canons to shoot at the rider when they get near a static stunt, like that bird for example.

The Buzzard will be animated at some point, but they have to buy a motor first. The same with the skeleton in the coffin across from the Knit Witt. He's gonna pop-up apparently! The new skull and Angel of Death are really awesome the way they are lit up though. They fit into the ride very nicely. We needed a bit more "Blue" in a ride that was mostly "Orange" "Green" "Yellow" and "Red"

The ride does look quite amazing with the new stunts put in! I like that fast line-up at the very end before the waterfall! My only complaint is regarding the new waves added to the Wave Room.....the waves were not painted right!

I agree. The new waves on the doors look horrible. I like the concept, but they need to be redone, masked off, and done correctly.
