I recently read in The Facelift of 2012 article (awesome feature by the way) that employees would now be scaring riders as they go through. Now, employees always scare me when I ride Knoebels Haunted Mansion! So I was wondering how the employees will scare you. Will they jump out, yell, bang on your car, etc? I think this will really freak people out! It sounds like a good new scare.

I hope they wear masks or something like that.

Masks would be cool.

Welcome to the forum HHFanatic! I don't think it will be anything special (masks, etc). It will most likely be just poping out and saying BOO! In the past, the Trimper family has let the ride "scare for itself" so to speak, and I think this will just give a little added fright here and there. It won't be normal protocol for every rider.

I've already experienced this myself several times over the last few years. One particular instance was in 2009 when a worker followed me through the ride with a flash light. (I think they though I was up to no good after the great amount of rides I had taken since I was using the wrist band)
Brandon probably recalls the time when Scott jumped on our car at the end of the train tunnel. Came out of nowhere! I was surprised to learn how sturdy the old rock-work was in the train tunnel. Turns out Scott was hiding above the track on-top of it, and jumped down to spook Brandon, my brother and I. I always though the rock work was made of cheap plastic. Was I wrong.

Ha ha that's why one guy scared me in the Knoebels mansion. I was taking repeat rides. He followed me through the ride by sneaking through trap doors.

No employees scared me...except for some becoming suspicious when they saw flash photography going on in the ride! Instead of just a "boo!", they should try to make loud, obnoxious noises.
