Just curious to hear your thoughts on the improvements to Tracy's classics so far this year. I think they look incredible!
Will anyone be going down soon for a vacation?

Heading down July 19th for two weeks. Will make frequent visits to the Haunted House unless my doctor puts me in the hospital for heart valve replacement surgery. Hoping to be in OC cause the alternative is going to suck.
Love what I am seeing with improvements. Can't wait to see it all first hand.

Whats inside that hauntedhouse blow up anyhow? That looks sort of neat, and awesome news about the renovations!

Brandon, thanks and got some good news from the doctor today. Went in there fully expecting the worse but the heart valve isn't leaking as bad as it was in January, the Atrial Fibrillation is gone, at least for now so no surgery in the works. We'll be heading down July 19th and looking forward to visiting Trimpers and of course the Haunted House. Thanks again for the web page and the updates you provide. Things look great for this summer.

I'm loving the fact that it's been a modern stunt-less year so far! All the work going into restoring the original Tracy gags to their former glory has been need for so long. It doesn't sound like they're done yet ether, which is great news! Personally, I think the Last Drop and upside down girl should be next in line for some TLC; which ones would you guys like to seen touch up next?
I should be down near the end of August for a day or two; can't wait to see them in person!

I would love to see the Knit Wit get a full restore (not just the head) but the entire inside of the cabinet, her web, etc. Also, the Old Mill.
The Last Drop could use some TLC too, but perhaps only to the hands and toilet part. The grungy artwork of the inside of the cabinet actually makes it look good and authentic!

We made it down on the 21st. Spent all day Sunday at Trimpers. My 10 year old girl and I rode the haunted house at least a dozen times together and I think she rode with her sisters another 10 times at least with arm bands. Very impressed with the restoration and the mine shaft skeletons were great. Enjoyed the fresh look on many of the stunts and to our surprise, Bolt was working this time. On our last night, she and I went in after dark because it's so much better at night. My only complaint with the HH is they need to address the timing of some of the stunts and lighting. Just glad to see things still looking good.

Just got back from Ocean City; I must say, the Haunted House was in pretty fine shape. The restorations of the Torture Chamber is outstanding! They look brand new! And while the Knit Witt wasn't exactly lit to show off her new look, you could defiantly see that her eyes were bulgy-er than normal, and her head didn't look loose. I hope to see this trend continue with the Tracy stunts getting restored. I think the next one on the list should be the Last Drop, as it has seen better days, and is literally starting to fall apart. The toilet seat is in pieces and the water effect wasn't working, which I'm going to assume is out of concern that the stunt itself isn't shape for the addition of water. The new miners in the corridor are a great addition! They really do add that Trimper's touch to it; reminds me of all the other cut-out characters around the park. Now for some things that weren't doing so well; I'd be kidding if I said everything was running at 100%. First off, the lighting is defiantly an issue. In previous seasons this has never really bothered me, but I know it's always been something people here complain about. I have to admit, certain scenes didn't seem as well lit this time around. The black lights in the Wave room had nearly burned out, and you could only see the waves on the right side of the room very faintly. I would really suggest some extra light for reaching bale, as he's hardly noticeable in the dark corner. Other then the fact that the whole ride smelt weird today (like chemicals or freshly laid paint )it was a joy to ride as always! Lost count again as to how many times I rode. Speaking of Count; I'd still love to see him get an overhaul and restore too. I remember how bouncy and alive he used to be. Would love to see him restored to his former grandeur.
