The Sawmill had an air leak, the Bat at Bat Hill was not operating, and the Falling Barrels had a faulty air cylinder. The majority of the sounds are not working because the repeaters were fried during a lightning storm a few years back. They are not fixable as of now.

You can re-record them onto new sound repeaters if the sounds exist somewhere as a copy. Otherwise, you would have to record them from scratch.

Hey Brandon. Do they plan to fix the tunnel. That's a big effect and I'd hate to see it left dormant.

The tunnel should be fixed shortly. A special motor had to be ordered. By the start of the busy season, all HH effects should be in working order...... until some A-hole decides to ride through and destroy everything. (Which by the way is inevitable when dealing with so many people)

Maybe Scott can download some blade sounds and a women scream for the saw mill. And I think they should add some loud sirens and air cannons for more scares, beause the rides lacks some scares.

He might be able to find some MP3s and record them onto a digital chip. Problem is, if the repeaters are fried, they would have to invest in brand new playback equipment, which is not cheap. But, there are probably cheap ways around it.
Gary, where are you? You are the sound effects master! What do you think?
For the electric chair, Distortions included a cheap auto-reverse tape deck that housed a tape with several minutes of constant "screaming" then when the tape ended it would automatically flip. You could use this method and simply put a photoelectric sensor on it to turn it on, but you would still need an amplifier because most auto-rev decks do not house their own... and you would need a relay.

Is it still playing the organ music or house music? What about Sawmilll or Knit Wit? Or the falling beam? I hope the sounds can be fixed, it's not the same without the sounds. Does Vincent Price's voice from Thriller still play as well as the the organ in the lobby?

I am sorry to say that only the house sound, lobby sound (vincent price), Reaching Zombie, Electric Chair, Jumping Ghoul and Train still have working recorded sounds. The Sawmill, knitwit, beam, and toilet have not been fixed.
The stunts that use buzzers instead of recorded digital sounds, like the rats, graveyard, and clock, are all working fine.

The clock wasn't working this weekend, when I went by I heard the buzzer, the bird seemed to try to pop out but didn't quite make it. The second time I rode it, it was not functioning.

Hey Brandon, can't you give them a copy of the sounds you have on the sounds page? They could use those, and all the stunts could have sound again. I wonder if that would work? What do you think Gary?

Yes I could give them a copy of my sounds, but the digital sound repeaters are fried. They would have to invest in some new equipment first.

I know the falling barrels were broken, but was the spinning tunnel still broken as well? I can't remember...

as far as the sounds go, i guess it really depends on if they're dead set on having everything housed in the workshop or not. it may be the safest place for high-end stuff, but a 35watt amp, speaker and triggered digital chip are pretty easy to hook up on-site. i threw together a proto that played the toilet sound and drove my girlfriend nuts every time she tried to go into the bathroom.

Most of the sounds are onsite now anyway -- the Reaching Monster, Jumping Ghoul and Gallows all have sounds located onsite now...

You can re-record them onto new sound repeaters if the sounds exist somewhere as a copy. Otherwise, you would have to record them from scratch. On the jail part I heard a sound for the jail
