the new ones were probably in the ride at the time...
They haven't redone all of them...
Only three so far...

Correct Sean -- only three have been restored. Three more will leave this winter to be redone as well.
All cars will be like new within 3 to 4 years.

???Wait a second I thought I heard they were adding seat cusions to the cars. But by the look of the new car pictuers on The HH website, they never added these. Why? If they were going to add them, I supose they would have been added when the 1st 3 cars went for an Extreme Makeover. By the way, I think the cusions should be that bright purple color that the painted-on cloth covering on the coffins is. By the way, Also, has Trimper's ever thought of painting the coffins black instead of brown? I've never heard of a wooden coffin except at the HH. I thought they were used in the Dark-Ages? And that was way before Bill Tracy was 5000 years from being born! I'm pretty sure they used metal Black Coffins at the point of the HH's birth. Why wasn't this ever brought up?

They could add the cusions for very little money to all the cars. that would make them all look new

Actually you can still get wooden coffins/caskets. My Aunt died two years ago and her family special ordered a deep brown Mahogany wooden casket for her. It was really unique.

Yeah, But hopefully it wasn't like the HH cars, that fall apart when you touch them to hard! I asume it had a nice smooth finish, and wasn't all bumpy like the HH cars to!

The cars were not only painted, but wood was replaced as well as hardware and accessories. The look great!

I don't think the Haunted House would have such a [glow=red,2,300]spooky[/glow] feel if the cars were black metal. I think the wood cars give it character.
