When I went to the HH on the fourth, I noticed that the hinges on the left side of the exit door (the smaller one) was replaced. I have no problem with them replacing hinges, but when they have what looks like a creaky old building, and then a pair of brand new, white hinges on a crash door. It kind of ruins the atmosphere...
The second thing I wanted to say about crash doors is that they should add a few more. In the entire upper ride, there are 2 crash doors. The balcony entrance, and the exit to the lobby. They should add at least one. It should be at the transition from the torture chamber/giant skull to the Toxic Man/Jumping Ghoul/Mermaid/Electric Chair. The reason is that the light from the torture chamber kind of seeps into the other room and makes the ghoul visible from the mummy/coffin area. Plus seeing all the stunts before they start kind of ruins the scare. I think the reason why the ghoul is so successful is because it looks stationary when you move into the room, And then you find out its not. And the electric chair because of just how loud it WAS (its now kind of quiet, you used to be able to hear it outside...)
So what I am thinking is, if they put a crash door where I said, and had the TC area completely dark before you go into the next area. And have a light (like the one in between the legs of the EC body) at the ghoul turn on when it is activated and when the sound byte is finished, it turns off. And then the EC goes off after the ghoul. After the lights go out on the electric chair, the room is pitch black (or as close as they can get to it...) and the two stunts are not visible...
What do you think?
