I don't like that Scott is taking out some of the Tracy props. They shouldn't be thrown away, either because they might be the last of their kind. The Fright Zone (Haunted House) formerly of Ohio and Pittsburgh until 1979 which closed after 2006 and the insides were sold to a guy from western PA and moved them to the struggling Conneaut Lake Park, and the Whacky Shack at Hunt's Pier, Wildwood were the only Bill Tracy rides I know of that had the sawmill and the bird kooky clock. Hunt's clock was light blue, Trimper's is red. Laff has a picture of the Whacky clock in the Hunt's Pier article, inside pictures of Whacky Shack and the sawmill, too. Too bad that the Whacky Shack (Hunt's Horror after 1988) was destroyed in early 1996, but I heard the props were saved and in storage somewhere in Wildwood.

Oops, the Fright Zone in Ohio didn't have the clock. Only Trimper's and Hunt's rides had it. The only known sawmills were at Trimper's, Hunt's Whacky Shack and Fright Zone at Erieview, Ohio. I don't think Waldameer's Whacky Shack or Joyland Wichita's Whacky Shack (currently closed) or the dismantled Phantasmagoria at the moving Bell's Park, Tulsa, OK have the clock or sawmill.

And the Knit Wit was only in the Trimper's HH and Hunt's Whacky Shack as far as I know.

I understand hunt's had an off-site storage and maintenance facility mid-way between wildwood and cape may -- i have a pushpin on a map somewhere. i plan to investigate when i'm down in that neck of the woods next. i understand it's abandoned and probably a mess but it's probably worth a look see. bud hunt's granddaughter kristen has tons of information and i'll see if she has any more interiors of whacky shack (and anything tracy, for that matter).
