Was the Bathroom original to 1962? If yes, then how did it wind up on the second floor that didn't exist in 1962? Was it somewhere else prior to 1988? After the Bathroom you go down the slope toward the first floor. Also, were the Torture Chamber and Head Slinger from the Ghost Ship? Does the Head Slinger still exist? If yes, what are they saving it for? Is the Train and Tunnel a Tracy stunt? If yes, where was it before? What about the Bat Hill shrinking hall, the second crooked mine and the Wave Room? Were those designed by Tracy but where were they prior to 1988?

If memory serves me correct, the Bathroom is original to 1962 and was moved from the first floor to the second after the merge. I will double-check to be sure. Torture Chamber and Head Slinger were from Ghost Ship. The headslinger was being kept at the Trimper warehouse in West OC back in 03-04. I am not sure what has become of it. I know they were keeping it outside in the elements, behind the warehouse. Bat hill did not exist before 88. That corridor was built after the addition of the second floor to make a way to ascend to the second floor. Second crooked mine, the train tunnel and the wave room were all Tracy’s work. They all came from Ghost Ship. A good rule of thumb is: anything from bat hill onward is pretty much from Ghost Ship. It is important to note that before the merge, the HH was very small, only a fraction of the size it is now, and could not house anywhere near the amount of stunts it currently has. This is why before the disposal of several of Tracy’s stunts, the Haunted House at Trimpers was referred to as a virtual Tracy catalog.

...which leaves me even more curious about the layout of Ghostship in its day. To be able to house all these stunts, it must have been an enormous building. I have contacted George LaCross from Laffinthedark several times to inquire about Ghost Ship pictures, layout, but none exist. Unfortunately, the Ocean Playland amusement park was not in existence long enough to have an everlasting impact on amusement-goers.
Noone really remembers anything about it!
