In our imaginative worlds, let’s suppose all of Tracy’s attractions were still standing to this day. If they were all still standing, which attraction do you suppose would have the greatest monetary value? Or, which one do you think would have the most personal value? Would they be equal?
Mind you, Trimper’s Haunted House does NOT count in its current state. You would have to consider the original Haunted House, and the original Ghost Ship as they were originally built in their respective time periods…
Maybe the easiest way to do this is to start by making a list of ALL Tracy attractions that we know of, and go from there… Anyone up to the challenge?

Funny you should mention this, I was thinking the same thing yesterday. I think we'd need to pool our resources and really look hard, he had made quite a few in his tenure. For example, the Ghost Ship in Ocean City I had never even knew existed until I read the history of Trimper's HH.
I'll post as much as I can find...

ok, ok, i should have included trimpers and ocean playland... i thought they were gimme's!
and i thought dr.bloods was credited to jim melonic. many of the stunts were technically either cast from tracy molds or in his spirit, but were made after his death.

I have some corrections for you. Both Jungleland and Pirate Ship Skua on Hunt's Pier were removed early 1989 along with the Flyer, ghost town iron horse RR and mini hot rods under the Flyer. The Whacky Shack was retitled Hunt's Horror in 1989 and was closed summer 1995, and removed early 1996 during the transformation to Dinosaur Beach. I have word that the building of the Hunt's WS building was pushed into a dumpster, along with the whacky front but most of the stunts were saved and are in storage in Wildwood, they were used for the haunted hay ride on the beach that is no more. I saw the WS building on the pier Aug 1995 and it was gone upon my return June 1996. Aug 1995 was my first time back in WW since Aug 83 or so. The last time I touched WW was June 1998. (when Castle Drac, both closed theaters on that block were there, and the Golden Nugget was running, all motels/restaurants well except Zaberers were there, etc).

A correction: Tracy's Riverboat was at Crescent Park, not Rocky Point. (I watched them build it late 1961/early 1962). Also lost Tracy: Paragon Park: Congo Cruise (Mill Chutes almost identical to Hershey's Lost River) Paragon Park: Kooky Kastle West View Park: Boot Hill Whalom Park: Pirates Den (Pretzel ride system) Miracle Strip Park: Haunted Castle I'm sure there are others I can't recall at the moment. The Miracle Strip Haunted Castle is not completely lost, part of it survives in Birmingham, AL as a temporary dark ride. Some stunts are at the Ft. Walton fire co. in FL. But, it's a shame the park went away for nothing. The condos failed. They had some unique rides. At least the Starliner was saved. Our seaside parks are in danger. We also lost MB Pavilion for an empty lot, and Astroland in NY is in danger, although a bigger park is planned. I hope Trimper's survives, and the Bill Tracy attractions.

Go to flickr and search either Miracle Strip Haunted Castle or King Power Cinema (user) for some awesome stuff. He saved the stuff from the Haunted Castle. He has rare shots of the park, dark rides/haunted houses, lost Panama City Beach attractions like Castle Dracula Wax Museum, and more.

Some of the stunts from Dr. Blood's are in storage at a place called Randyland (former Woolworth bldg) in downtown Wildwood. I saw pics, forget the site. I'm not sure if all were saved, but the scary monster head from the front is on the back of the pier with the other junk. And Fright Zone in Ohio is closed for now. The stunts and cars are at Conneaut Lake Park, PA in storage. The building shell was left behind in Ohio. With Conneaut's future uncertain, I don't see that ride coming back, unless a miracle happens. The Whacky Shack at Joyland is SBNO, and the park's future is uncertain due to legal battle between longtime owners Stan and Margaret Nelson and the new operator. They bought the park back and tried to resell it, I guess they wanted to retire but didn't want the park to fail. and Bell's wants to rebuild, wooden coaster, dark ride and all. Most of the stunts are safe in storage.

The two main places I went in my childhood in the late 70's-early 80's Dorney Park (owned by Bob Ott at the time, who passed away Mar 2007), and Wildwood had alot of dark ride losses, and fires, and had some of the best Bill Tracy dark rides. All of the old Dorney dark rides were remodeled by Bill Tracy in the early 60's, and again by Jim Melonic in the 70's. When Cedar Fair arrived July, 1992 they decided to remove that last remaining dark rides in the park, Journey which closed forever Sept 1992 then a year later the Meteorite, which was the Iceberg in the 80's. I wonder if Harris Weinstein didn't sell Dorney 1992 if he would have kept the remaining dark rides? He ran DP from 1985-1992. Wildwater Kingdom opened the year he started as the chairman 1985 replacing Bob Ott and his son Bob. Now, Dorney has haunted stuff in Sept/Oct and is expanding again this year with a new name, Haunt and new additions like Club Blood, a new indoor haunt, and CornStalkers, an outdoor walk, and Terror Square, a scare zone. So, while DP might be all happy and cheery in the summer without a dark ride in sight, come Sept it all changes. It used to be before Cedar Fair that you had dark rides all summer at Dorney like Kennywood, Wildwood, Rye Playland, OC MD, etc. As for Wildwood, they lost some of the best dark rides due to unfortunate circumstances, like fires, ownership changes, and Dante's is the only decent one left. NJ is pretty strict when it comes to dark rides, and in the 70's early 80's they had some of the scariest attractions, but lost most of them to fires in the 80's. My home state, PA in fact has no permanent summer or year-round hants anywhere. The only walk-through "haunt" listed for PA is the Pirate's Cove at Waldameer. Yes, Waldameer also has 2 excellent Bill Tracy attractions, the Cove, and the ride-through 2-level Whacky Shack built in 1970.
