I notice how the 2-level Tracy rides by which he installed were a bit more-or-less organized then our current two story Haunted House. I noticed how the down hill turn-around with the rat is in particular all over the place (Right over the spinning tunnel and Upside down room) Compared to Tracy's straight up; straight down layouts.
I wondered, what if Granville had installed that two story ride? Would the layout be a bit more organized? (Not that the current labyrinth of track isn't unique and fun in it's own right) What if this would have lead to the previously spoken of three story ride when 1989 rolled around and the ghost ship set sail for Trimper's?
What would a three story facade look like anyhow? where would the tracks connect? I realize this was brought up before, but I also have realized that the forum is slipping into a grave again and I'm not gonna let it happen. It's an interesting topic, and if post bumping this can be the decision that saves us from an early grave, then so be it.
What if the HH was three stories tall?

I really can't imagine a three-story one. I don't know how to add on to the front. I think if you add more to it, it would become too much to look at. I don't know if that makes any sense or not!

see; if they would copy some of the current lobby and front clapboard designs, they could easily move the original Bat portion not back, but up. Plus, we'd all get that covered balcony that wouldn't delay a rainy day ride!

Posted by trleft on Today at 7:16pm idt that it would go through, the HH is a nice timed ride, and they already have trouble with gettin enough GOOD stunts Well, this is definitely not happening, under current circumstances... It was just a "What if?" Trimper's had gone with a 2-level ride from the begging, and then bought the Ghost Ship; Then 3-levels would have been an option.

What they could do ( I don't wanna see this happen but its a possibility) is take stunts from Pirates Cove and put that on the 3rd floor.

It almost feels like 3 floors, you know why? Because when you go up Bat Hill after the graveyard, you turn to the left 180 degrees and go up again through the falling beam mine shaft, then through the barrel room and up AGAIN a THIRD time through the Wave Room. Then, finally you're on the uppermost floor about to go out onto the balcony in the room where the vampire lady is and Frankenstein used to be. You go up 3 times in that area, so it actually feels like 4 floors in a way. It's just that you don't spend much time on each "floor" between inclines except to turn around to go up again.

Next time you ride, make sure your eyes get used to the dark; If you look closely straight above the car in the crooked shaft lift, you'll notice the ceiling is not only un-painted, (apparently, the ceiling wasn't an issue here) but WAY high up...

Just picture a lobby on the loby then the current 2nd floor. Only the doors on the second lobby would be far apart. Think of a merge with West view's.

I had never noticed the high ceiling in the crooked mine shaft until Brandon said something about it in the Room Heights thread.
