has anyone ever think about what will happen to the head slinger? So far it is my favorite prop that was removed from the ride besides the crab stunt. I was wondering if Trimpers ever considered putting the stunt in the ride again. It seems sad to see the pictures of it rotting behind trimpers warehouse from the laff in the dark article. I really hope it doesn't get thrown away or fall apart. I wish trimpers could put it back in the haunted house but it would probably have to be put some were in the ride were vandals couldn't reach the stunt very easily. what do you guy's think should happen to it? if it were put back in to the haunted house were do you think it should be placed?

The State that figure is in... picasaweb.google.com/MTTBrilhart/DropBox?pli=1#5385598545177813634His head has disappeared, and his body is decaying. He wouldn't likely make the trip to the HH from the warehouse from the look of it, and why bring him over just to look like this; no movement, no nothing, (Hell, take the red moody lighting away from it, and then it's even less an appealing return visual) It's most unlikely...

If the head slinger was to return to the haunted house it would most likely go under major renovations. like a new head, re-fiberglassing, new paint, and new pneumatics Also, why would trimpers remove the stunt and let it rot be hind the ware house insted of throwing it out like the rest of the ghost ship stunts?

but your right. It's retun to the haunted house would be very unlikely. I also wonder if parts of the old ghost ship stunts (Crab, Drunk Pirate, Bartender) can still be found at the dump. but the fiberglass and wood pieces would be decayed and roted.

I wonder that too. Maybe Trimper's wanted to save more room in landfills!

I went and checked on the Headslinger the last time I was down, and unfortunately, the entire body has detached from its main support on the stairs and appeared to have tumbled down the steps and broken apart. At this point, it is in so many pieces and is so deteriorated that I doubt any future use will happen.

Wait a sec...so he's in far worse a condition then the pictures you took of him last year? He's in pieces? Oh no...
Well, I think the reason the head slinger was the one who was placed in storage was because he was the first Tracy stunt to be pulled from the ride, wasn't he? If he was the first, then maybe they were originally going to save them all...of course, we know what happened in the end...they nearly all were pulled within a year of the head slinger, and met worse fates then him, as we have no clue as of the wear-abouts of the crab, pirate, mad scientist, and so on...
Well, maybe the picture could be updated...
If the parts for the pulley system are still intact, maybe he could indeed return... picasaweb.google.com/MTTBrilhart/DropBox#5386119471104187698

Wow. Mr. Stubbs as a replacement body for the head slinger? well maybe if the stunt did return to the haunted house mr. stubbs would make a good replacement with some day glow paint to make him look like the original unless trimpers decides to completely renovate the original body. I also had no idea that he was in such deterioration at the ware house.

;DWell, siting out in the weather for well over five years can do that...
Sure, he was at the warehouse, but he wasn't in the warehouse. But why ? If I had to guess, as judging from pictures, I'd say the reason he wasn't placed inside was that the stunt was too tall to fit thought the front door ...
Brandon; do you know exactly why the stunt was never actually placed in the warehouse?
Why would they save the stunt only to let it deteriorate over time? Heck, if you look at it in a way, the head slinger has had the worst fate of all...his other HH retire's were given the quick way, as apposed to the slow & over time way...

Sounds cool, just make sure you keep an eye out for a-hole vandals. They will end up with his head.

LOL, about your theory of stubby being the new head slinger, wouldent it seem weird that right after the stunt, it is another version of stubby on the electric chair?

Who knows? Maybe he could be placed somewhere else. If they did every repair it, maybe replacing the the Gallows Guy would be the safest place. After all, he's up on the shelf.
