The dumpster fire at dough roller when the garbage truck hit the high tension wire out side the hotel poplar wold golf (I think that was the name) all the fishing spots- piers, end of the street

The Dumpster Fire seems like a odd memory. Where you there to see it. Besides Putt-Putt and the Occasional restaurant visit; I can't say I have many favorite memories that come to mind Non-HH or Trimpers...that's just how it is...

I always enjoyed looking up at the Plim Plaza tower and statue on top of Tony's Pizza as a kid, Gold Rusher Golf, the original Paradise Cove golf courses which mostly got torn down, I do remember Polar Golf and always thought it was awesome looking. I like the original boardwalk train that used to run, and a restaraunt called the Alaska Stand which I believe used to be where the Seacrets lot is today. Ahh... so many memories.

I'm still having memories being made even through I'm 18 now. All the mini golf, going on the hh, going to restaurants, watching storms from the high rise row condos, I've been going down for 18 years.

I'll always fondly remember the big sign for '65th street slide and ride' upon first arriving at OC. That was always like a big "HELLO!" after being away for a whole year since the previous summer. And the old commercials on the resort video guide channel for the greene turtle, jolly roger, bahama mama's, ocean club, and a slew of others, as well as the alaskan themed old pro golf, ghost hole at trimper's, the original morbid manor on the pier and giant waterslide next to it, the odd haunted house jolly roger used to have, swimming in the ocean during a ravenous storm, getting up at sunrise to wander around and stroll on the beach, the 5 star quality and service of Paul Revere Smorgasbord, and millions of others...

I used to add ocean water to sand. I called them "gloppies". I would put them on my family's feet...how that would benefit their feet, I do not know.
