you can check out all of my videos here www.youtube.com/user/chroylikesfish but here is my main HH video that includes the new bat and bolt stunt, www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbQzeWse4BM now it usually takes a while for the HD quality to kick in, so just wait a couple of mins and it should be up soon. oh and I promise you that the left and right mounted videos will be up

The mounted to the side ones were a bit dark in a lot of areas. You couldn't see the saw mill at all. HD cameras are nice an all if the lighting is to the photographer's liking. IDK, it just seems these always come out so much darker then the general standard quality/restored POV. It becomes hard to see certain things. Maybe we all should invest in a Industrial strength Flash Light like Brandon had in the 1996 one; It practically looked like the house lights were on.
Not trying to dis the videos you did or anything; the HD seems to interfere with the visibility though. I guess it would have something to do with the lack of compressed pixels in the footage, since HD allows them to expand to greater numbers, allowing all those natural black gama pixels to multiply even worse then a normal camera in the dark.
They are good nonetheless, if you have High speed Internet; and time to buffer them with.

They're still fine videos, but you mostly can't see anything. It seemed the regular view video was zoomed in until it reached the Vampiress room. But that's just what I saw; I don't know what actually happened. Good videos, though! I just hope my camera doesn't come out dark when I'm in the ride. Maybe I'll take a "stick-up bulb" into the ride!

The only way we could get a full 100% or near that quality is with a Nikon D90 camera, or something similar; Watch this Video of the Disneyland Haunted Mansion, shot at Night; Most cameras would have shot next to nothing in the scenes he caught in full color; Which is another thing; Why isn't Night Vision a standard on video cameras nowadays?

The new bat looks good with the blue paint and it's tail is really good. I think a red strobe would do wonders on Bolt though. It should be timed to go off after the doors close though so it's dark.

Yeah, I noticed it turns on even before the doors close, which makes the transition back into the ride very fast! A red strobe would look very nice, as he has no direct lighting. I think most riders will be caught off guard when he goes off, not knowing there is something new!

If anyone has any new videos of the ride, be sure to post them!! (I'm going through a phase of huge anticipation the last few weeks before we leave for OC!)

Sony Cameras are pretty good; Nikon is the highest quality, but for all around video, I'd have to say Sony does the best.

I have a Panasonic. It works; I can't see what I'm filming on high-speed rides because I have to flip the screen up to prevent it from shutting and stopping it from filming due to the wind. It's decent; It gets the job done; I must say it's been through a whole hell of a lot. From It's first ride on the double splash flume at Dutch Wonderland back in August of 2008; It's endured Splash Mountain in California, Knoebel's Flume, and The Comet; Numerous rides through the Haunted House. I almost got the dragon coaster at playland and the Hurler at Kings Dominion, but I had my reasons for deciding against the filming. (Playland band somebody for filming Zombie Castle; That's some harsh-ass punishment)
This summer; It prepares to endure Paris, and all the rides at Disneyland Paris. And quite possibly, the Cyclone at Coney Island...
I can't say it's the best camera as far as quality goes, but it's held up for the beating it's taken.

HaHa, I've never thought about that...my "Bloggie" would probably just close and shut off at high speeds! (Isn't "Bloggie" just a great name?)
