Trimpers needs to take a day and close the HH early or open late. They need to fix all those problems. While at rehoboth beach, I noticed that before opening, they would go through the mansion to make sure everything was perfect. Another thing that bothers me is people saying it isn't scary. I blame the lighting and lack of sounds in some places. The jumping ghoul, blot, electric chair, ect. would be way scarier is lighting wasn't on them till they go off. I heard some where that it's the toxic man's light the keeps the room lit, why can't he go somewhere else? I also remember reading that there are doors by the train that are kept open. If so, put them at after the torture chamber! The train tunnel could also be delayed to go off when the car passes. If people aren't scared, they won't ride again and tell others not to. I know I'm wrong but sometimes it seems they don't really care about the HH. If they could atleast time the lights, bang doors would not be needed after the torture chamber. When this light comes on, the last one goes off. When the reach the torture chamber, the lights go, lights in next room off. When they leave, they lights switch. It just makes me mad that it could be better but it seems no attempt is made.

I have to partly agree...sometimes, it seems like they don't care about EACH rider's experience. If something is in need of attention, it should be addressed quickly. So many riders may have bad first impressions, or simply think the attraction is kind of "fly-by", when it is certainly NOT! The Haunted House needs to take even more pride in its operation!

You're right - they need to close for a day or just work on the problems over the winter. A perfect ride-through is very important. Say the Falling Barrels aren't falling for two days. Say there are 500 riders in a day. That's 1000 people who just saw the Falling Barrels malfunction. I'm sure the management is working hard (I hope) to keep the ride looking great each day, but sometimes it doesn't show...

If they could just improve lighting and sound, new stunts that cost over $1000 would not be needed every year. I understand the black lights are important but separate them from stuff that does not need black lights. it ruins it.

I think they should put the black light for the Jumping Ghoul on a sensor, just like the one in the Upside-Down room. It would be an easy solution to the bright black light in that area. Simply have it click on RIGHT WHEN the Ghoul leaps, then have it turn back off waiting for the next car.
Click.................Rraaaaahhh!................click. Problem solved.
That right there would probably fix the problem in the Electric Chair room! They should do it!

I personally think blot should be moved to where the giant skull is and have bars for protection (This would make him scarier, not seeing him coming, and safer) or atleast fix the doors so no light get's in. There's too much light on him. Once again, my opinion. I also think the gallows might need redone. As I said before, if the barrels will not fall again, move the mummy closer to them and have the light go on when you pass them. The cuckoo clock could also use a light on, light off. I would know what's coming even if it was my first time on the HH. There's a clock at the haunted mansion at rehoboth and it's kept in the dark. Scared the crap out of me just like knoebels. How much would a few new sensors, fixing the double doors so no light get's in after the balcony, and re timing everything cost? Do all this and the HH wouldn't need new stuff for years. They call them dark rides for a reason. Neon paint is cool but not mixed with new stuff

Let's all stop with the complaining and accept it for what it is. The Trimper's do an amazing job with that ride. They are very attentive to things when they break. The effects go off every 20 seconds on average. That means on busy days when there is little downtime of riders, the effects can go off about 2000 times per day. Come on guys, lets talk positive and be realistic.

Sorry. Constructive criticism can be good, but not negative comments only... ;D
