I've always wondered why virtually every stunt in the ride has some form of damage to it from riders - now I know! I would have never expected, for example, the Crooked Hallway (2nd room) to be so close to the car as you ride through. There is no effort needed at all to reach out and mark up the entire hallway. I guess the Crooked Mineshaft is a tad harder, though, but still, so easy to touch. Some of the other "most touchables" have to be the Spinning Barrel, FLYING BAT, Stretch Victim of the Torture Chamber, 2nd Rat, and even the new Headbanger. They are all the prime stunts that are mere inches, if that, away from a rider's body. Another thing my family experienced was that they were riding on the left side of the car, and we all know that's where the opening is for riders to board and exit the car. Well, as we went through the ride, a couple times, they would say, "Oow", and I didn't know what their problem was. They had actually been hit with bang doors because their left leg was hanging out of the car a little bit! Anyway, it makes me happy that the stunts above, and all others, have lasted so long, as they are so close to the riders. I find it amazing.

And your forgetting you have the typical unimpressed teen rider who will get up and walk around the ride to vandalize; those people bug me...
I personally have never been hit by a bang door in the HH, but I can't say the same about the one in Rehobeth; I always get hit by the rubber veil covering the Knoebel's Skull Room Knock-off...

Yeah, I have been hit by the bang doors. I don't mind if my knee gets scraped because I'm coming in contact with the almighty Haunted House!

Many times when we went through the bang doors, I wanted to touch them so badly, but I just couldn't...
