Okay, so I have been think about this for a little while, and after doing a mix of it, I have to say I think this theme overall fits the Haunted House a bit nicer as far as the sound qualities and age go.

I want to know which one you think sounds better overall. I know we have all come to know the Thriller Version. Maybe they could both be played to add a little variety.

I hate Monster Mash! Just kidding, it's okay with me, but it's a little too kid-friendly of a song in my opinion. It sounds cool, though! I'm all for a new little song insert into the Lobby music!

You guys haven't seen the early bootleg copies of Rob Zombie's Halloween have you? In the final version, they play "God of Thunder" by KISS in the opening titles, but in the bootleg, they play "Monster Mash"; I'll never look at the song the same way again. Maybe they could play both. A little something new never hurts.

No reason not to play them both. Maybe throw in Dragula as well?

I wouldn't want to hear any Rob Zombie music in the HH. I like the music, I have a couple of his songs on my ipod, but I don't think metal and rob zombie type music fits the HH's style. I think a mix of haunted organ tracks(including the current with Vincent) would be good.

I'd say Dragula may be too much for the Haunted House lobby, but it is a cool song...

Yes, maybe so. But you must admit that it may bring the younger crowd in.
On that note - Have you ever considered amping up the late night shows for the adult crowd? Specifically I mean having an extra actor or two inside the attraction - maybe with a chainsaw - while playing some more metal/goth tracks outside? You could advertise that the HH is more kid friendly before 8pm for example.

Listen to both of these all the way through; particularly the first one; the end is where the good stuff is...
I showed this to Brandon a year or so ago, and we never really resolved it. Does anyone think this music sounds oddly similar when played by this man too something we hear in the Lobby?
Here is the original movie version of the organ from the 1966 Don Knotts Film, "The Ghost & Mr.Chicken", written by Vic Mizzy:
What do you all think? If this is indeed the tune that we are hearing in the lobby, than perhaps the tune wasn't part of the ride originally until later on some time? Or maybe the tune was written before hand, and was a coincidence like Pink Floyd's "Echoes" and Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Phantom Overture"
So what do you all think? Could this be the mystery tune heard in the lobby?

I LOVE that movie! It doesn't sound like the Haunted House tune, but it does have a strong resemblance, though.

It sounds very similar...well, the second one does. It almost sounds like a circus, but so does the lobby music.
