I am building a haunted house this year for halloween. I have these plastic sheets with designs on them that I was going to string from tree to tree for walls. But, the wind keeps taking them. What would be the best way to hold them to the trees and some poles with out having the wind blow them away?

I would say loop the sheet over the ropes you tie them to the trees with on both ends and attach them...
See the diagram, it's hard to explain. This is just the top, but the bottom should be done too... Attachments:

It's nothing really. I wish I could throw a Haunted House together, but I doubt my folks are up to it.

I always put pretty large air holes/peep holes in my garbage bag walls so air can pass through easily, and I can see who is coming! If you leave no space for wind to go through, say good-bye to your wall!

Try framing it with some 2"x2" lumber (not expensive) Or, if the walls are truly temporary, assemble them in a garage and only put them up a few hours before your event.
