Guys, If you are all as crazy about this stuff as me, you must love horror movies. I happen to like the 80's flicks, the ones that actually have character. I am a HUGE Nightmare on Elm Street fan. I am curious to hear what you all like?Anything?

I was always a fan of all the "Friday the 13th" films, mostly because of Jason of course. But the scariest thing i saw was the shinning

I like them all for the most part; Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th...
But my favorite has to be Dead Silence; Not to knock the slashers, but adding the "Ghost Story" element takes the scary to a whole new level; plus, who isn't even just a tad bit creeped out by Ventriloquist Dummies?
However, I like the Blair Witch Project too. But I'm not the least bit scared of it. (I still don't grasp why people got so scared of the end; sure, there was a story that involved the corner, but really? He could have been taking a leak for all I know with that kind of lighting ) I watch it, and I get the message that anyone, anywhere can film a movie and make it no matter how low the budget.

I never did dive into the meaning of BWP. Why was he standing in the corner? Did we ever find out?

It has to do with the story they hear from the old lady about how the witch would take kids into her house in a group. She would have them all stand in the corner so they couldn't see, and she would take them, one by one, and kill them. I find the tent scene much creepier. But ether way, I'm sooo going to make a parody movie out of it.Anyone see Insidious? I just saw it last week. Awesome movie. Very screwed up...

Waiting for Don't Be afraid of the dark. Mist new movies today suck. Insidious was like silent hill(good movie) meets poltergeist meets the exorcist meets star wars. A few good scenes.
You can't beat a good stephen king story though.
Most disturbing- Dario Argento's opera.

I've seen Opera. That one was messed up. Those birds eating the guy's eye out was crazy!
Stephen King's Rose Red is also another good Haunted House story.
Don't confuse Dario Argento's Opera with his Rat-Man Phantom of the Opera movie. How can you do a Phantom of the Opera story where the Phantom doesn't wear a mask!?! WTF?

I absolutely hate spiders!!!! Thats one of the reason why I hated the beginning of the Haunted House was because of the scull with spider legs.
