Trimpers expanding? Like what areas could be expanded and bought out? To make room for new rides? Are there even business's willing to do something like that? Or are they historic places? It would be cool if they had a wooden coaster. The one ride that never existed down at the boardwalk, except playland. It would be cool if they could buy out a parcel of the parking lot and build it there. Sort of like how the HH is off the lot.

realistically either one won't happen. I do think Trimpers should get rid of that Tidal Wave. It is a cheap, untrustworthy coaster that should never let riders back on. When i rode it last June, one of the notches to the shoulder bar came loose when i was in the f**king loop. not to mention the cable snapping incident. that ride should be demolished before it kills somebody. I just know another accident will occur.
f**k the Tidal Wave.

It would be cool if Ocean City would reconize that Trimpers is a seaside park of a dieing breed. Even Coney Island past its prime and got rid of most of his prime unique rides. Same with Wildwood, even through they are trying to fix that with the latest new custom rides they've built/or planned. Jolly Rogers Pier really never wants to do anything, hell when are they getting a new coaster? Or something unique, right now you might as well call it a fair on the pier.

Yes, there is a possiblity. The Trimpers own land just north of where the Freak Out sits which currently has buildings on it. There has been talk of demolishing the buildings and adding more rides in those area. The property has already been zoned for this, they just need to make sure they can get more money out of running a ride than renting the buildings to businesses.
There is nothing wrong with the Tidal Wave. It's a great ride and very safe. It identifies Trimpers because of the skyline it creates when coming over the bridge, and it has a great appearance and draws all sorts of crowds, not to mention it is a cash cow. Don't be hating on Trimper rides in this forum! This is a place to share Trimper love, not hate.
Any man made product has the potential to break, and rides are no exception.

How large a ride would you say could fit in this area? I don't wanna get my Ocean City getting a Wooden roller Coaster in the near future hopes up...

Sounds like a job for me. Brandon can you take a picture on google earth of the lots that are for sale, along with the rest of the park. Perhaps outline them in photoshop/paint. I could maybe come up with an idea. Or proposal.
EDIT: Hmm, we have the h20 club, and two small house looking buildings.

Yup. April 17, 2010 update outlines the zoning.
