As any HH fan knows, the exit path on the left-hand side is the way out...But not everyone is HH smart an HH savoy... ...I want to know how many times you have spotted one of those riders who tries to exit via a walk across the entrance track...despite 2 clearly stated EXIT signs with arrows an all...

BTW, Maybe a sound clip is in order here, with a "Please Exit to your left, and follow the fence toward the mortal realm, and please, do visit gloom house again sometime" so as to point out the already obvious exit to those riders who need just a bit more of a notice...

Even if no one listened to what it told them, it would still be cool to hear something like that, maybe in the count's voice? Or in the "falling beam" voice...

Ya know, maybe the sound repeater would do more justice in the exit...I think I'll try to upload a clip or recording of some sort.

The exit sign used to be up higher on the column on the left, I believe. To make the exit even more obvious, they stuck it right on the clapboard door that closes in front of each car. People are just so bizarre that they can't look literally six inches in front of their face!

Oh, and I counted about six of those people who couldn't exit themselves. The operator sending in cars had to yell, "EXIT TO LEFT!" Ha ha.

JUST A THOUGHT!
This is just a thought. What if the exit was moved to the front of the ride. You wait in your coffin till it comes to it. No walking around. The fence would have to be redone but if this happened, there would be room in the back for something else in the lobby....

OR
or how about a large wooden plank low enough right over the gate so only the cars can go under it!

Interesting ideas. The exit in the front of the ride probably wouldn't be ideal because on most summer nights the line to get on the ride extends all the way down the front. I feel like it might get too tricky and crowded.
The plank idea isn't a bad on, though!

I nearly saw a little kid get run over the other night. Pretty scary stuff. Thankfully the Employee caught him before he went under the car. Something needs to be done before someone gets hurt. The plank idea or an audio bit seem like good ideas. I just don't want it to end up looking like this at some point. How many exit signs does it take to make people figure it out on their own?
