So what is he going do? Take a jog to the Delaware Valley, decide to take a pit stop in Iceland? What do you guys think. I love hurricanes but 10 years ago one flooded my basement since I live next to a small crick. But its cool seeing things get destroyed by winds but not fun in anyone gets hurt in the process.

My name is Earl. (Sorry; had to get that out.) I actually welcome Earl to Pennsylvania, where it is as dry as the Haunted House's Trolls! Winter was much colder and snowier than normal, but this summer has been mostly hot and very dry. WE COULD USE SOME RAIN, EARL! It appears we now have one more stretch of 91 degree weather before slipping into the low 70's at the end of this week...
I don't like to see people hurt, but hurricanes are cool to watch. Sorry for those on the coast, though!

It looks like we might be getting a close call. Super rough surf which means when I go down to OC MD labor day I will be seeing some tsunami waves. Anyone going down next weekend?

I always keep a close eye at Atlantic storms, not only because of Trimper's/HH, but because my family has property in OC. I am deeply concerned about the next few systems.

The haunted house is safe besides the facade, unless of coarse a F3 tornado comes on water and causes havoc which can happen in these intense celled hurricanes. Brandon I think Fiona the next system might hit Florida or the gulf.

I remember when hurricane Agnes blew through PA and destroyed a good bit of Hersheypark, including the Lost River ride.

The Weather Channel just said "some 'models' predicting Earl to move further WEST"... That's not good. We'll see what happens.

Seems like it got much weaker than they thought and stayed further off the coast. Good to hear that it wasn't too bad!
