why did'nt the Eletric chair guy move in the 1990's, I mean It was supose to move, and in the ride video (where you can find at www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSWWdH1gJuo ) you can see a hole throught the chair, where the motor is suppose to be, can somebody explain that?

Back in the 90’s, when the chair was first purchased, it had a motor with too much torque and a very high RPM. The motor constantly blew the belt to drive the dummy forward and backward. Furthermore, the latex foam-filled bodies they used were constantly ripping. It was simply bad engineering on Distortions part. Eventually, a Trimper mechanic switched out the cam motor with a lower RPM and lower torque unit. In the video, it is apparent that the motor was out for repairs.

Hey! Check-out this A-W-S-O-M-E Youtube video of the Electric Chair Stunt. It gives the stunt a kinda non-scary Rock'n'Roll feel! It's pretty awsome, isn't it? ;D [ftp]http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=OXa4kriTOec[/ftp]
