It sounds to me the building is not included in the sale. Does that mean the facade as well? Morey's Pier has a near-identical ride, but has been modified heavily from it's original form, plus lost the neon red German or old world style letters spelling Dante's Inferno on top. It's Dante's DUNGEON now. So whoever buys it will have to build a new building for it? Is the facade lost? I was at Astroland once 11 years ago and rode it several times. I've ridden Morey's version as well in early 80's and Aug 95, June 96 and 98. There's a new amusement park coming to Coney Island this year, last year there was a temporary park set up on the Astroland lot. No dark rides, but I think the other two Ghost Hole and Spook-A-Rama are still there. Ghost Hole came from Trimper's. It would be a shame, though if Dante's won't be reassembled by a new owner as shown in the pictures.

Your right. As of now, Spook-A-Rama and Ghost Hole are the only ones left in Coney. I visited in 2009. I never saw Astroland, but I've heard about it plenty. I'm assuming the buyer would have to create a building.
