My concept is to use a part of the ride where you can put spider webs, and use spiders, and have one that floats above the rider, and moves down a bit. This would freak me out, and a lot of riders. And have a sound effect of rats scurrying around or squeaky sounds. Have red glow paint for eyes, and paint them along the walls with 8 dots.
What do you guys think? I'll draw a paint sketch of it.

I have been thinking maybe its time to remove the day glow paint in the wavey room. Or put now black wood boards over it; so it can be reversible. What you would need are some convinceable spiders nailed to the board with string like cobweb on the walls. There would have to be lots of string hanging from the ceiling to give the effect of walking into a spiderweb. A spider at the end that is animated that sort of lowers slowly as the car slowly heads to it. paint day glow red dots everywhere to signify or amplify the amount of spiders that seem to be in the hall.

The gallows would be awesome. I didn't think about that area. I wonder what Brandonian thinks.

What ever it is, and if we do it- we must out-do playland's haunted mansion. There spider scene was made from a trip to halloween store. We make ours from a trip to a BETTER halloween store!

Nice Idea. The wave room has been long over due for a makeover of some sort. I don't have a fear of spiders, but I know a lot of people do, and that sort of room would be an extra scary addition!

Very interesting idea. I am picking up what you're putting down! Of all rooms in the ride, the Wavey Room is one I wouldn't miss too much!

Yeah she's still there.
And I suggested moving this idea to the gallows area, he has to go soon if he's not working. Either get a new one or use this idea.

I doubt replacing the Gallows will happen. The Wave room has potential though. The only problem is how cramped the room is for floor space. Nearly everything prop-wise would have to be suspended from above, or painted flat on the walls. But it could work!

...And if the gallows does get the boot at any time, the first priority is to bring the Birthday Party back to the shelf above the downhill.

I threw this pic together to show you an approximation of how small the room is space wise, and how it would all have to be hung from the ceiling or on the walls. After re-reading your original post plokoon, I realized that I got the spiderwebs a bit wrong. Your saying something like the forced perspective archways in the crooked timbers hallways, aren't you? (With a spider-web design) I for some reason was thinking the typical glow in the dark cobwebs you can buy at most stores during Halloween to spread on your bushes. I think what your saying would look much better than this.Attachments:

Great job. It just has to be realistic as in you think its actually spider webs, and read spiders. And rope or string from the ceiling could help with that perspective.
