Do you think there would be the market for a new walk-through haunted house in OC MD? Why or why not? Or, is OC trying to move away from amusements and more toward residential development, thus no more further parks or amusement attractions developed in the Town?

I think that OC is moving away from amusements, not by choice, but because they have no other options. If another dark ride would come into OC, it would have to be a part of another major park. An independent dark ride with independent ownership would never make it. Dark rides are simply not as popular as they were 25 years ago. Folks are more into the spinning "puke" rides. Plus, this generation of kids and teens is much different than back in the day. Unless Trimper's or Jolly Rogers were to add another dark ride, I don't see it happening--not by a long shot.
At least, that is my opinion…

yeea the more i go there the less fun it is. OC in general. I mean last time it just looked so run down. hmmm yea a friend of mines family owns a house there now. I think OC just wants to be known as a residential/retirement place now. plus, spring break they dont go to OC they go to Florida or something.
