Just went to A.C.Moore craft shop and saw these lighted and, in some cases, animated mini displays. The prices were a killer 75% off (everything was under $20) so me and the girl picked up a few. Check 'em out. Something to have at home to remind us of dark rides, in a way... lemax-spookytown.com/curse of the mummy, ghost town, pirate ships... lots of skeletons, blacklight LEDs, etc... really nice

Ah man these are great! Right up my alley. It would be great to have my own display! -- Someone should foot the bill and make a specialty addition Whacky Shack!

You could have a whole display of haunted attractions. Sort of like a tourist town with haunted attractions. If you have a flat table like a model RR, you could set up a strip of these.

Is this one that you got Gary? This one is awesome. Did you ever end up setting yours up like a little boardwalk?

I just went on eBay and typed Spooky Town for the search item and a whole bunch came up. I didn't realize they had so many items!

I got some stuff when they were 75% off at the store, but the Hotel (above) was sold out and the display model was a bit fingered up and somewhat broken. I really like that piece (and the gold mine one, which is similar) but I think I'll wait for another sale. They retail for like $50. Not an awful price, but when you've gotten a few of them for $10-15, it's hard to fork over full retail. The people selling them on ebay want near-retail (then add shipping) so no great bargain there. Heck, they're the ones that prolly bought up the clearance sale items knowing how much they can fetch normally.

Stopped by A.C. Moore a few days before Halloween to check these out (thanks Gary). Thought they were great and proceeded to buy a bunch. Since then I have been to 2 other A.C. Moore's, 2 Michael's, and a Boscovs. Spent way too much money, but next year, me and the kids are going to set up a cool Spooky Town display for Halloween. Can't wait!
