I've noticed a couple times on here, people saying that they've built or put together their own haunted houses at home before, and I was just curious what exactly were they like? I can share one I did many years ago that I remember. Well, sometimes when friends or family came over, I'd get it in my head to build my own HH in the basement for them to walk through. And sometimes we'd take turns designing our own ones for each other to explore. They were usually assembled in this room with an old tile floor that we just called the "wash room" or laundry room. And this one was pretty neat. Upon entering, there was a clothed figure propped up against the wall to your left. Then to the right, there was a furnace, and sometimes it would flicker to life for added eerieness. And besides that there was a toilet...and I just had to pay homage to trimpers by sticking this fake foam latex severed arm I had in it! The HH-goers would then pass underneath a light bulb in the ceiling, which I covered with this evil looking devil mask I had with a string attached to it, so it would wiggle and appear as if it were moving it's jaws. The old sink down there was usually filled with blood water, and there was a mannequin's head that was used for haircutting practice that i'd stick in the dryer! Nearing the end, I'd usually pop out somewhere and scare the daylights out of whoever was going through it. And it was always a blast!! ;D

These were the things I loved doing when I was younger. Now, I have roller coaster tycoon to build haunted houses on. I would love to actually have my own spot to still build Real haunted houses. But there is really nowhere for me to go and build one without my Mom or Dad saying that I can't. I use to build awsome haunted houses. ... ...But this guy is the ultimate haunted house builder! www.dafe.org/attractions/darkrides/scream/scream01.php He even has cars! A track! A building! This guy is the ultimate haunted house at home builder....

Yes, RCT3 is the best thing to build virtual amusement parks and haunts, there's lots of custom stuff out there to spook up your parks and rides. There's some Bill Tracy stuff for RCT3 by Plokoon111 like the crooked mine shaft, and more. Carrie White was going to release a set of stunts, but she hasn't replied in a few months. She has plans, blue prints to many old defunct attractions like Castle Dracula Wax Museum of Panama City Beach, FL (burned 1986), and Myrtle Beach (closed end of 1982) and more. She didn't scan them, though for public viewing. The Atari RCT3 site is where that stuff is. In 1995, I did a haunt through our house, downstairs, and in 1996, 1997 in our enclosed patio for Trick or Treat night. I have video from 1997 walking through it by myself during the day. I never repeated it because too much work, plus there might be liability involved when having strangers come through your house. Where I live, couple miles west of Allentown, PA, Dorney Park, there are some neighbors that have been there 35-40 years and some that have moved out and new ones move in. The newer development by us is about 15 years old and the older one behind us dates back to the 1960's. We live in an 1880's house on the corner but remodeled. My mom and dad bought it in 1973. My dad passed Mar. 8, 1986 and my mom has been going with a man for 14 years.

I did do stuff like that by making haunted houses, like me and my friends made a haunted basement, filled it with strobes, music, and props. It was poorly put togather, but we made 75 cents that day. Basicly you would walk in, and look at the props than walk to the exit I would grab a boat horn spray and pop it right at there head and they would scream. It was funny, but mean.
