I get the worried feeling sometimes that vandals could possible destroy a tracy stunt in the HH at any time, which of course would never be replaceable. And that perhaps, they should be protected somehow? I just think of it as if somebody owned a priceless piece of history such as an original hand written letter from George Washington, or a piece of artwork from off of the titanic, they wouldn't just leave it sitting on their coffee table to be groped by anybody and everybody. They'd have it in some sort of protective cover and out of reach of harm! Maybe it's an extreme idea, but I just think such priceless stunts like the ones in the HH should be taken extra good care of to avoid permanent destruction.

I agree with you mike. at this stage in the game, tracy's classics should be better protected. all it would take is for some ahole to totally destroy the sawmill or knitwit, and it would be gone forever. these stunts qualify to be put in a museum at this point, and something should be done...

Let's just hope that they make it to that fateful day when the haunted house will meet it's end, so that perhaps they can be placed in the museum or given/sold to fanatics like ourselves. Hopefully though, that day is sometime in the distant future...

I believe protection is a good thing, but it would ruin the rides effects dramatically.

The reason why the Pirates Cove effects are all original and in tact is becaues of the chicken wire protecting them. Most stunts in the pirates cove have gone 30 years without have so much as a finger placed on them.
Imagine if the HH's original stunts had the same protection? They would all be mint! I would have especially loved the Ghost Ship stunts to be in better condition. I loved those nautical-themed stunts, and was sad to see them go!
But, chicken wire would totally change the ride, and I can understand why it is not in place...

Yeah it's really sad that some of those great ghost ship stunts are gone forever now for that reason. I can't begin to say how much I miss the crab!

Sean, that was a great idea! If there was some kind of loud buzzer/alarm, I know myself that I'd be very leery of exiting the car. Probably would trick some people into thinking that someone on the crew was coming to escort them out of the ride too.
