Will Trimpers ever add another portable darkride like HellHole? Or are they going to add a coaster or two? Actually when you think about it, they have like no room.

maybe, they probably would have to sacrifice a ride or two, so it might not be worth it...

Because of the unique plot that the Trimper Amusement Park is on, it really limits what they can do in terms of large rides, like coasters. Plus, because of zoning, it makes it extremely difficult to get anything passed by local government in Ocean City. They went through hell just to get the Tidal Wave, where they had to dig 30 feet into the ground for the footers. They also had to break their back just to rezone the property for the Freak Out, where Trimper’s miniature golf course used to sit. It is my opinion that their dark ride days are over. They are more interested in the Inverters and Freak Outs that this current generation loves so much. I remember talking to one of the family members about Ghost Hole, and frankly, they got ride of it because it made NO money. It sat day after day vacant. But, at the same time, with the Haunted House on the boardwalk, the competition was extraordinary. Plus, the Ghost Hole had many problems and required maintenance around the clock; for only 4 or 5 tickets per ride, it simply wasn’t worth it. Before Ghost Hole, a portable Go-Kart Track sat in its place, and it too done away with because of a huge maintenance bill and little revenue.
Because the park has a classic like the HH, I don’t think another dark ride is really necessary. That would be like Disney World adding another dark ride even with the Haunted Mansion. It is simply redundant, especially if the preexisting dark ride is doing well financially, and if space is extremely limited.
Two years ago, they added a small portable coaster on the plot of land that used to be Trimper’s Old Towne Golf, and to my knowledge, it has done alright. Granville Trimper’s favorite ride is his Tidal Wave coaster, and because of space limitations and current tax problems, you can bet that other permanent coasters will be non-existent. The Haunted House, Pirate’s Cove, and Aladdin’s Lamp do the park well, and I think adding another themed ride would be unnecessary.

If you want more dark rides, just go to the pier and ride Morbid Manor, or Jolly Roger and ride the Nightmare Castle. Too bad the pier didn't rebuild the old Morbid Manor walk-through. That's what's missing from OC now, a live actor walk-through like MM. Virginia Beach and Myrtle Beach have 'em. But, MB lost it's only traditional dark ride when Pavilion packed up and moved, the Haunted Hotel built 1978 and razed March 2007. However, they still have the Ripley's Haunted and Nightmare Haunted House on the strip. VB has Haunted Fun House, Nightmare Mansion, and Fun House. There are currently no attractions like that anywhere in MD, DE, or NJ, just the remaining dark rides and walk-throughs. There are no permanent shore haunts left in NJ or MD, you know, the Brigantine, Castle Dracula, Morbid Manor type.
