He passed away the year I was born. I was born Jan 14, 1974 and he passed in the summer of 1974. The first Bill Tracy dark ride I experienced was the Bucket O' Blood at Dorney Park, which burned Sept. 28, 1983, the Gold Mine walkthrough closed 1984 or 1985, building w/arcade torn down fall 2005, and Journey to the Center of the Earth mill chute which was torn down after 1992. Dorney also had a walk-through Whacky Shack which burned in Dec 1973. My mom remembered it. Then, at Wildwood the Crazy House on Fun Pier, the Pirate Ship Skua, Nugget, Jungleland, on Hunt's Pier. I failed to ride the Whacky Shack for some reason. I remember being mesmerized by it and wondering what was behind those doors. I watched the colored WS letters sway back and forth. I saw it at night, we usually went to the amusements at night and the beach during the day in the early 80's. My father who took us there passed away Mar. 8, 1986 and we stopped going to WW for a while until we went back Aug 1995, and June, 1996 and 1998 with my mom, her man friend since Dec 1993, and my younger brother born June 17, 1978. I got to experience some of the old attractions like Castle (for the first time 1995) and Nugget before they went defunct.

I assume you are the same Robert that mentioned on The Bill Tracy Project Forum that you have a floor plan of the Hunt's Pier Whacky Shack. If so, would you like to contribute it to The Bill Tracy Project?
