Ive rode the haunted house about 9 times this year, and all year long, the witch hasn't been working. I honestly thought that this made people jump, because it looked like it was about to fall on you (just like the falling barrels) so it might just be me,but i would be kinda upset if this stunt is broken for good

Actually, she isn't broken-broken...but she wasn't working the majority of my trip. However, she was always working at night, just as the Electric Chair sound was. Maybe it's to save on energy costs. Obama hits the amusement industry ten times as hard as families, so this is acceptable...

I guess with so many customers coming mainly during the night, they just decided to save a little and only have those things operating correctly at night? I can't believe that even more damage hasn't been done to the Leaping Witch by riders, since she gets so close to the car.

They never disable an effect to save on cost. It was most likely broken and then fixed during that time, or the car, for whatever reason, did not trigger the stunt. Most commonly, the Witch gets punched in the face, which is why her nose is crooked and beat up.

Well, it's nice to know they don't actually do that--it would be very unfair for some riders.

I was just at the HH last week and the witch wasn't working. Has she worked at all this summer?
