With the snow coming tomorrow, the Pittsburgh area is supposed to get about seven inches total. Whenever a storm comes, the media is so obsessed with telling people that "the road crews are ready" and how people are reacting to the approaching storm. I really don't care. The same stories over and over.
Personally, I love the snow, and always want more of it--but the media constantly says, "Unfortunately, there is snow coming." That is definitely not everyone's opinion!
Is the temperature in Maryland cold enough for snow? Do you hate or love snow?

They are calling for around 30 inches here in Baltimore! Look for major updates to OCHH.net if that happens! Might be a day for the chat room.

WOW! Usually, since the Butler/Saxonburg area is north of Pittsburgh, and closer to the lake, we see much more snow than Pittsburgh. But with this storm, the farther you go south, the more you get. Kind-of a bummer for us. The Haunted House covered in so much snow would just look odd.

The snow has stopped here, and we really got hammered!
They predicted 8-12 inches, but everyone around Pittsburgh got at least 20 inches! Also, the drifts around my house are 2-3 feet deep!

Wow! Over three feet!
It was difficult to plow the driveway/cement areas. Even the plow couldn't handle so much snow! Some people still don't have their driveways plowed, or even have power...Thankfully, we have both.
The roads around here are still pretty bad...we were out yesterday and today and didn't see one PenDot truck. They have so many roads to take care of, and so much snow, but still, I don't think they're doing a very good job. It seems they've STOPPED.
For me, school's closed Monday.
Pittsburgh got 21.1 inches, and we got around 20 inches as well.

well the northern Philly area missed the 30 inch stuff that Jersey got, we got around 17 inches. Still alot I think. But this Tuesday storm coming is hitting us in accuracy. I heard 1'to 3'. Plus the foot I already had, this one might be exciting.

With this next storm, they keep raising the accumulation amounts, just like the last one. They still haven't taken care of all the roads around here, and some schools have been closed all week. They're saying only about 6-10" for this storm...

I might just have a third day off Wednesday... But it's not all good for me... The ridiculous teachers in my district went on strike this year and last year, and have screwed everything up. All days we miss for snow days will be attached onto the end of the year-the last day used to be June 18...
