My guess would be, of course, the Haunted House! Anyone know which Trimper ride makes the most money?

It truly depends on how you look at it. The Haunted House is the only "Big Name" that's open more then just during the summer. The Carousel House is open all year round. As funny as it seems, I'd actually be willing to bet the Carousel make the most money for Trimpers as a whole, year round.

Good idea but however the ticket price might be smaller then the Tidal Wave or higher end rides.

Depends on how you look at that being a factor; the price is lower then the Tidal Wave or Haunted House. But The Carousel operates longer then any of the rides at Trimpers do.The Hours of operation for Tidal Wave start at 1:00, or something like that. Of course that's during the summer. The Haunted House, and the Carousel open around 11:00 or 10:30 or something in the summer; The Carousel operates on weekends, and some weekdays during the winter/off-season too...
And then you have the pay one-price wrist bands that take some riders out of the equation from 11:00 to 4:30 or something. Once those expire, then your left on the ticket sales...
You also have to consider the audience that looks at a ride. The Tidal Wave is Geared more towards Teens and Young adults. The Carousel is geared toward families. Generally, anyone can ride a carousel. I'd love to see if there was ever a carouselaphobic. Trimpers has a very large model; I think like 50 riders per run. The ride does have lines sometimes too...
Last time I visited, the Tidal Wave was running half-empty trains mid-day, while the carousel still ran full, or near full at least. The ridership picked up for Tidal Wave once the sun went down. The Carousel's didn't go down.
The Tidal wave can seat 28, 30 some per-train; the trains run half-empty in the early 1:00 to 4:30 hours, most;y to wrist band users in the summer. The Tidal Wave is a bit more then the Haunted House, isn't it? $4.00 or $5.00? The Carousel is $1.50 maybe?
There is a lot to consider in this...the spot has to go to one of these then:
- The Carousel
- The Bumper Cars (They Operate like the Carousel too)
- The Haunted House
- Tidal Wave
