I remember going on this, but how long was it, what did it look like, didn't it have prop things that would come in and out of the fancade, and what was the inside l;ike? Refresh my memory.

Ghost hole was one of those rides that you loved to hate. It was in all honesty not that great of a ride, but at the same time, you would miss it if it were gone. The façade was massive in width and height and had air brushed artwork. On the left, it had a giant skeleton pushing a carriage that would go in and out of the facade. It had several alien-like stunts moving on the front. The right had a small balcony where the car would come out and go back in. After crashing through the front doors, your car would hook an immediate right and ascend up a hill. Half way up the hill on the right, there would be a dinner setting with three skeletons, a dinning room table with food, and a chandelier. The stunt never looked that great, but it was better than nothing. You would continue up the hill, make a right, go outside briefly while doing a u-turn, then crash back inside where your car would make an eventual left and start descending back down an enormous hill. Once at the bottom, your car did about 5 or 6 zigzags until your exit. The stunts were mixed and mingled from all different eras and companies in every corner of the ride. The roof was made canvas, and the inside of the ride smelled as such on a 100 degree summer day. Like the Haunted House, the Trimper’s used black lights for a lot of their stunts in Ghost Hole. I remember the Ghost Hole required two trailers; One for the effects and cars, one for the ride structure and panels. Before the Ghost Hole occupied this space, the Trimper’s had a small go-cart track there. They would eventually do away with the go-carts because of the constant maintenance the karts required. Hope this helps. If you Google Ghost Hole Coney Island, you will be able to find pictures. Good luck.

Rode Ghost Hole for the first time this September. For a portable, it wasn't bad at all, plus it was a nice suprise since I didn't even know it was there until I walked by it. Much better than JR's Morbid Manor. Only had time to ride it once, so I can't really add to/confirm Brandon's description other than agree that the stunts were a mixed bag.

I heard the Coney Island updated the inside and made it a lot nicer from when it sat on Trimper's lot. Agreed the JR's Morbid Manor II is a lot worse than the Hole.
