The newest fad in OC is the green lazer pointer. These have been appearing all over the board walk in great numbers. reflecting off people and buildings. The cops are getting mad about it too. They're actually pretty cool, I bought one.

Tried getting one too tomshutter, and noticed how far they go. I bet its causing havoc to the windows of the condos/hotels on the boardwalk.

I went on a cruise on the bay. It was like duck hunting with us as ducks. %50 or more were pointed on the boat.

I saw these in action today! Wow, they really do get annoying. They can be fun if you use them in the RIGHT way...
Store employees on the boardwalk were actually pointing the green lasers at people, laughing the whole time. If you're going to point a bright light in my eyes, I probably won't be stopping in your store...
Another "awesome trend" is the employees to be shooting some type of bubble guns at boardwalk patrons...I guess it's okay, but again, it also gets annoying!

One of the many problems with the lasers is that riders now take them into the Haunted House. OH MY. I heard some immature kids/teens exiting the ride and joining their mother on the bench outside; they were saying, "Ha ha, there was some guy in uniform chasing us in there! He looked like he wanted to murder us! We were pointing our lasers at everything, ha ha! He gave us a creepy look."
Yeah, no crap. If I was their mother, I would hurt them. Taking a laser into a ride and wondering why an employee - likely Scott - was following them is ridiculous, and whoever was following them should have YELLED at them or simply turned off their car's switch! That'll show 'em!

I guess a couple of kids went to OC this last weekend! I was riding my bike today and some punk was shining a green laser-pointer at my bike and at my eyes. I almost ran into a car because of that jerk.

WHAT A LOSER!
Its amazing how the silly bandz became popular, it didn't need advertising or anything

And not many people actually buy the official Silly Bandz; they just get the cheap (not in OC) knock-off brands that are probably the exact same thing!

I look foward to those laser pointers this year!...well, maybe not that much... I remember one year it was the laser pointers with various attachments that could make different pictures on the wall when you scewed them on the end of it. Are those black t-shirts with the splattered paint still "in"? Man I got sick of seeing those! Haha Small bit of amusing info, go shine the laser pointer at the targets of the different props at the shooting gallery for a real good time! I got a lot of amusement doing this one year, but still shelled out a buck or two to the Trimper's to play it the right way, just to not feel like a total weasel! ;D
