Awesome! I've had my stuff out inside since about September 12! It is my favorite holiday! I'll be putting up my usual Trail of Terror in my front yard, and am very excited! Only about 40 days left? WOW!

WOW! I was going to do something like that then I said #$@#$ it! I'm making a full fledged haunt this year. Black light, mutant, grave yard, and butcher shop scenes. Really cool

I'm doing a HH as well....I'm adding a few more pnuematics this year that is taken from the halls of Trimper's!....I already had a pneumatic clock but this year I'm adding a grave riser from behind a tombstone and a bat that will shoot out about 4 feet overhead using a 4 foot air cylinder.....There are many other tricks too but that's the Tracy type stunts.....ZR

^ Sweet! I always see billboards for that! I drew that billboard. (The original). And the Oz billboard before that one. It's what I do. Yes, I have been to field of screams. They have a pretty good show there. Most of the folks who come to Jasons woods also go there and vice versa. We like the competition, it keeps us on our toes. If you should come to Jasons, say hello, I am the doorman at the Barn of Terror while we are running.

Ahh fame ..... It's nice to be remembered........
Lester was the huge fat thing in the cave scene on the second floor of the barn of terror. His character was never fully developed and he suffered from replacement actor syndrome, so the whole scene was eventually revamped.
When a scene works well, we keep it from year to year. When it doesn't, it's history.

I will certainly try to do that. Sometimes it is hard for us to get out to look at other haunts because they are only open when we are, and they are closed when we are too. But over the years we have been able to get to most of them. The scariest one I ever saw was at Dead Acres in Ohio, they have a show there that they call the Haunted Hoochie.

I've never heard of it! There's Scarehouse, Kennywood's Phantom Fright Nights, Hundred Acres Manor, and more to choose from! Idlewild Park's Halloboo is probably the best, though. I've never been to any of the real-deal haunted houses, though...only the local smaller attractions.
Hopefully I can make it to one this year (time is running out!)
