Yesterday I was at my library. There's always a display case as you enter. This time I was surprised they actually had something good in it. It was pictures, new and OLD, of the Waldameer Whacky Shack, celebrating its birthday this year. The old pictures were simply amazing, and clear. One was in color. It had close-ups of stunts and the legs on the facade. It even had the catalog mentioned in the January 9th update on the Bill Tracy Project site. There were fantastic things in the case also, I just wanted to steal it right there. They had old mugs and plates featuring the Whacky Shack and Pirate's Cove. Next weekend, I'll try to get pictures of it. It was truly awesomely awesome!

That's awesome spooky. I will now be keeping a close eye on eBay for those rare items! Please take pics if you can and show us! Are you going to DAFE's Waldameer event on the 22nd?

Yes I am! I simply cannot wait to go! I always said that it would be a dream to walk around in it with the lights on. And now, I have that opportunity! Also, in the case was a newspaper thing, I think from the Erie Times, that had the pictures of the front and the rat inside. The one page was torn, though.

I'm so sorry, guys! I didn't think THIS weekend was the one I went to Washington, D.C.! I couldn't be there to take the pictures! I'll take it this weekend after the Whacky Shack tour. Brandon, you could stop by the Blasco Library and see it for yourself. It's always better to see it with your own eyes than in a picture! It's right on the shore.
